students striving hard in palengke...

after the mass, lagi kaming pumupunta sa palengke para bumili ng mga "raw materials", tapos lulutin para may ulam kami sa tanghalian.

i though it would be like an ordinary palengke trip after the mass, just like the ones we had before. we go to a stand and buy some vegetables and meat, but today was different.

nagulat ako nung ang nagbenta sa amin ay isa kong schoolmate nung highschool.. (third year siya nung fourth year ako...) she was with her mother and she was the one cutting and putting the bought meat in plastic bags. nagwonder lang ako, ang hirap siguro magpa-aral with that kind of job ng isang student sa isang private school, na mejo may kataasan yung tuition fee (di pa kasama dun yung other expenses)...

wala naman akong alam about their life, pero na-appreciate ko yung mga things na meron ako, especially time. while i am writing this, siguro nasa palengke pa yung schoolmate ko selling goods.

paglabas namin, bumili yung mom ko ng sili, at nagulat ako na yung nagbenta ay isa ko nanamang schoolmate dati. naawa nga ako dun dati, kasi imbis na color pink yung p.e. uniform na suot niya, it turned out to be color white na dahil sa sobrang luma. pati yung nakasulat na "p.e." ay lumang version din.

i guess i'm lucky. sige na mga tsong, tatapusin ko muna yung reaction paper ko sa theology. at mamaya, i'll write some again.:)
